Its a windy morning in Playrville. Yet again has the mobsters of the town killed some innocent people. Only a few is left, but now a resistance is starting to form.
Will you flee town or are you one of the brave citizens who stand up against the mobsters. Perhaps you are one of the mobsters

The game will start shortly after 12 to 20 people have joined. Time of start will be announced at that point, but no sooner than friday the 31. october at 18.00 cet

People will then be randomly given parts of the story. A small group will be mafia and will also be told who the other mafia members are. The rest will be town. They will not know about everyone elses roles.

each day(*) everyone gets to vote. The one with most votes by the end of the day will be hung. Then the night starts and the mafia gets to attempt to kill a townie. then the next day begins. Deadlines will be given during the game by me.

(*) a game day will be around three days in real-time, but that could be subjekt of change, if i find it neccesary. Nights will be around 12 hours.

Town wins by hanging all mafia-members.
Mafia wins when they are equal or more in number to townies.

Like WD said, yes the mafia knows who the townies are, due to the fact, that they know who the other mafia is.

BUT they are outnumbered.

Also there is a possiblility for a third party. That could be a rival mobster group, a rogue assasin or what else you can think of. They also dont know if any of the townies has special abilities and how many there might be. You could make up just about as many types as you want and give them a special role. NOTE: Mafia members can have special roles extra than the one to kill at night as a group.

Here is a small list for townies.
Please note, that there can be many small variations to the "normal" role. ex. the policeman/investigator also gets to know is that person has a special role.:

Policeman/investigator:
Each night he/she gets to investigate someone and find out if that person is good or bad.

Doctor/bodyguard
Each night he/she gets to protect one person. If that person is attacked by mobsters, the person is saved.

bomb/gravedigger
If attacked during night or by voting this person takes the attacker with him into the grave

The game is now afoot:

Its morning on day 1. The once proud city of playrville is almost a ghosttown. Only 11 residents are left and they all know what will happen if they dont find the mafia soon. They have decided to meet in the local bar to discuss the matter. All 11 have shown up, and the knowledge that some of the persons present is the ones that has been terrorising the entire town is very scary. It is now up to the townmembers to find and hang the mobsters. Who will be the first to get the noose around his/her neck.


Day one have started and will end on sunday the 23rd at 19.00 CET
At that time the person with the most votes will be hanged in the bar. The voting is open.

Any questions about the game can be asked here in the thread. If you have any questions about your role or you are concerned that your role will be in danger of showing with your question you can also ask them in a PM to me.

You've got to guess who's mafia and who's towns folk... You would've been PM'd your role and you have to kill your opponants .. So you need to get people talking to guess their roles in the story ;) Not much action here atm...

The crowd turned towards mustardeggs. He had been very quiet the entire day. Perhaps to quiet for the group. Was he a mafia member who didnt want to say anything that could expose him??
Seconds later they brought him to the gallows. He didnt make a fight for it, he didnt point his finger at anybody else, he just looked as if this was his fate.
Afterwards they searched his body but found nothing. They went to his home, but still there was no evidence of foul play

There was a very bad mood amongst everyone. The hanging of an innocent townie was weighing on a lot of shoulders. How on earth should they find those mafia-members??

When they had been sitting a while and drinking their morning coffee, they noticed, that one of them was missing.

After a short count of heads, they realised, that it was DanielleAngel, who hadnt shown up

They went to her home, and was greeted by a door that had been kicked in. Inside they found DanielleAngel's body on the living room floor. Her body was full of bulletholes. They looked through the house, but found neither evidence of who had done it, or that DanielleAngel was anything else, than she had claimed

During Night 1, DanielleAngel, an innocent Townie, had been killed

Day 2 have now begun. It ends Sunday at 21.00 CET. The voting for who to get hanged is now open.

End of Day 2

Everyone was on edge this day. After having lost two innocent townies, the rest was feeling the pressure.
The day startet out with lost of finger pointing, but that only resulted in fingers being pointed right back at the senders.
In the end they agreed, that the quick vote from Froede was very "scummy", so they hanged him.

Searching him they found nothing, so they went to his home. But nomatter how much they took it appart, they couldnt find anything.

On DAY 2, Froedo, an innocent townie, got hanged

It is now NIGHT 2, and everyone with night-abilities may send in their orders

Deadline for night-orders are Monday at 21.00 CET. If I get them all earlier i will start the game at that point.

Morning on DAY 3

Very nervous about what to expect the all came together in the morning. Many looked as if they hadnt slept much, but it was hard to tell if it was because they had been out of bed or if they just had trouble sleeping. Nervous of the result they looked around to see if anyone was missing. Thoan was named as being missing, but they found him sitting in the corner. Come to think of it, he had been sitting there the whole time. Nobody had seen him move on day 2 and they werent sure about he had actually move on day 1 either. They searched his body and found a gun and a list of now dead politician and cops who had taken bribe.

On NIGHT 2, Thoan, a Mafia member, had been randomly selected to die of boredom

The crowd cheered, but suddenly realised, that there was still more people missing. A final count made it clear, that ceedrus was missing. They went to his home and found the place burnt to the ground. His body was lying just inside the front door. He hadnt made it out of there. But that was not all. Just outside in his driveway was another body. It Was ~WD~ with his body full of holes from an army standard M16 assault riffle. In his hands ~WD~ had an UZI. Just like the one, that had been used to kill DanielleAngel. The Mafia had killed ceedrus, but he had taken one of them with him

On NIGHT 2, ceedrus, an army veteran(Bomb role), was burnt to death.
On NIGHT 2, ~WD~, a Mafia member, was killed by the army veteran.

DAY 3 has now begun. Voting is open and deadline is at Sunday at 21.00 CET

After a more than eventfull night who would then get the noose around the neck. There wasnt much talking, but it seemed, that the not hotte1969 had left during the night was taken in as an omen, that she was a mafia-member.
And since no-one objected, not even hotte1969 herself, they strung her up. Searching her, they found nothing of interest. With a bad feeling, they went to her home, just to find that there, also was nothing to find.

On DAY 3, hotte1969, an innocent townie, was hanged.

It is now night. Everyone with night-action abilities can send in their orders. Deadline is Tuesday at 21.00 CET (i will not be around a PC tomorrow night, so thats why the late deadline)

ETRONICS came through the door to the bar in a terrible state. He had been shoot during the night, but someone had very carefully bandaged him and giving him an IV drop, so he could survive. He had no memory of who tried to kill him or who his savior was, but it was clear that the mafia plans to kill during the night had been stopped.

But still... there was someone missing. Bitmonk8 was nowhere to be found. They went to his home, just to find him sitting in his chair in the living room. He looked as if this whole mafia thing had just been to much for him, and had scared him to death. They searched his home in hope of finding something that could help them, but found nothing of interest

On Night 3 Bitmonk8, an innocent townie, had been mod-killed due to inactivity

Day 4 has now started and will end when someone has 2 votes.

End of DAY 4

With a wounded ETRONICS it seemed clear, that either Slinky or Pip_sta had to be a mafia-member, so it was no surprice, that they both turned on each other and claimed that they where innocent and that the other was mafia. ETRONICS then sat down in the corner looking very concerned... he had no idea who to vote for. Then all of a sudden the mood changed. Slinky must have thought, that ETRONICS not voting, was actually because he was mafia and after a short while they hanged ETRONICS. He didnt even have time to argue for his life. Hanging from the roof a gun fell to the floor. Had his wounds really been a plot to make him look innocent and he was actually a mafia-member ?? Searching him they also found a police-badge. Slinky looked at in horror, she had protected him during the night, but now she had helped the mafia kill him. Then she heard a laughter behind her. The last thing she saw, when she turned around was the barrel of a gun.

On DAY 4, ETRONICS, a cop, was hanged.

Now being equal in numbers, pip_sta killed Slinky, an ambulance driver, to win the game.

There werent any people left in the town to scare, but there was lots of valuables. pip_sta would use those to hire new people, and perhaps use the houses in the city to harbour criminals who needed a place to stay outside the laws reach. She imagined that no cop would ever dare enter playrville again, so she could make fortunes on hiding fugitives here. It had cost her a couple of mafia-members to get this fare, but now she was on top. And she planned to stay there for a long time.

Not sure, that E had figured out who was who anyway, but i would still have given him the chance to do so.

There was not much "talking" in this game. dont know if that is because people are not much around and are just checking in each weekend to get the pass or its just because everyone was new to the game.

But i still feel, that there was plenty of clues as to who was who. But then... it could be just because i was sitting with the list... ;)
