UPDATE he just lost a big pot to a lowstack on a suckout and hes now down to 6th place :( but he can still make comeback we believe :d

Yea its tonight, a freeroll based on how much pro Marty Smyth wins in the poker million..and ive been told he's currently in the last 6..there will be anything up to 50k in the freeroll :)

Lol exactly like that I went out in a 30k gua. and they called my all-in. A on river, in the beginning of the tournament. Couldn't belíeve it when they rolled over their cards. :) Unfortunately luck just didn't smile at me ;)

and the play was no mistake. With only 4xBB+SB the KK is a push and hope for luck. With the KK you are always afraid of a Axx flop, but you just cant be with that little chips compared to blinds

Tonight im playing Round 2 in the NBC HU Championship on FTP. Just qualified in a freeroll with 256 players. Only 1 entry. So nice to beat them all :D

I´m playing a qualifier for the TV-Show Heads-Up Das Pokerduell.

In this qualifier you can qualify for a tournament, in which you can win a seat for a german-tv-show. In this tv-show you play heads up against some notable pros from Germany, Austria and Switzerland for one million :-).

As there are 2000-3000 entrants to these freeroll-qualifiers you see a lot of kamikaze-poker at the early stages of the tournament and I´m wondering, should I aslo gamble at the beginning and try to build a huge stack early or should I play tight and wait til all the maniacs are gone? What do you think?

I did it playing tight in the NBC HU round 2 with around 2700 entrys. Only 64 best got to final. I was at one point down to 200 chips, but managed with tight play to increase that to around 100.000 so you can do it.

LOL I just played the 50 Frenzy, and I never tried anything like it. Played it from the start and i got blinded out. Cold hands like shit. I had AJoff one time and raised to 3 times big blind. One caller and flop turns Q,Q,3 He raises all in i fold. Rest of the tourney i had hands like, 26o J2o J3o 37o 48o well you get the picture. Never have i had that many bad hands in a tourney. LOL again.

I changed my play a bit and focused on 1 cash table. Sat down with 200$ on a 1/2 table and I just left with 684$. I'm still down about 300$ today, but taking into consideration some of the badbeats I've been faced with I'm actually quite happy about it right now.
I also won some 22$ HU SNG's.
