Hi, this is the chatter thread all around todays 1st playr league tourneys at partypoker.

We have added money again, the tourneys will be held at 4pm and 6pm cet

I did .. i had AA at least 5x and KK 3x, although AA did lose once but not enough to do damage :) I think i played alot more aggressive today than my normal solid tight rock stlye play! It payed off too..so no more sitting waiting for AA anymore although when it comes every other hand its nice :p

I think i couldve played that JJ differently then but on that flop i'm not folding :p

Are you saying i played bad? Because i think i over played the big pairs, but due to knowledge of recent weeks in the league i know if you dont make it pricey enough people will fish :p

no i wasn't saying you played bad. just that you ran really well...which is what you have to do to win tournaments

Ahh sorry read you wrong.. yea as much as a having a bluff factor is good it helps to have the cards most times :p

Its nice to run like that because its a rare thing for me :p ive not won a tourney for months! Had a few FT's but usually i limp in and crash 1st lol I'm deffo going to get more aggressive in my play :)

How will you give points this month.

The tournaments on PP is only paying out to top 3 when we are this few people (which i think is good), but the other tournaments have given money/points to top 15.

There is a big difference in winning last week and getting 42.5 point and this week and getting 115 points for the 10$ tourney

the way RidderRap calculate the points gave them only to positions 1,2,3. k1 since you were the winner of the biggest tourney, i can't imagine why that would bother you terribly, you are the largest beneficiary of that calculation :D

if anybody objects to this calculation we can rework it another way

I also benefited from it but i also agree you shouldn't be changing the rules as we go...if 15 people got points before thats the way it should really stay :D
