i don't have a 'no deal' rule. however i will never take a deal if i am getting less than my equity via an ICM calculation, and typically i will want more. usually the only times i have chopped are when the blinds are huge and it is a crap shoot. if average stacks are 30 BB's+ i generally want to play it out. lots of people aren't good at the final table when it gets to 4-5 handed, because they have hardly any practice in that environment. i've played tens of thousands of SNG's and am very familar with the changes required from 9-8-7-6-5-4 handed etc.

i tend to 'bust or double' at the beginning of the tournament and then after the money starts. but once you have already made it to this stage it is time to grind it out and wait for a lucky rush of cards imo. obviously there are many ways to play tournaments.
