Would like to get a feel for what games and stakes everybody plays, so please vote in this poll with what most closely matches you.

We'll then make the strategy content to fit with this:

I play mostly No limit Holdem - blinds level 0.25$/0.50$... But for the most 0.5$/1$. It's the levels where I earn the most cash and the levels i can afford. When i'm tilting or wanna have some action it is 1$/2$...

If i play "safe"... It's SNG 5$ or 15$/20$ buyin, with 3 places paid - 5 handed. Weird enough i allways lose at 10$ SNG, so I never play them :p

:D

7-stud, HORSE, Badugi and Seven Card Triple Draw Lowball is all included with 'other games'. Also the poll is biased cuz I made it and I never play any game but Hold Em or Omaha unless I am drinking at a casino :D

@ WD

Ok... But the only game mentioned in that option was omaha, and I'm so bad at that (plo) that I kind of skipped the rest of the line... sry.

I play cash games low limit and also low limit sng tournaments, my highest stakes are generally 25c/50c cash and $10sng. I tend to steer clear of $2 and $1 SNG's though. I dont go that low.

I usually play tourneys NL HE, BI from $10 to $300, but mainly in the region of $20 to $75.
I play some cashgame too $1/$2 blinds, but that is not an ATM at the Ipoker network. I am breaking even with a +/- $300 - $400 in 2008. So I am taking a short break from the cashgames.
My best game is the MTT, in which I am pleased with my progress so far ;) Been around 6 months thou since the last really good victory. But another one is just around the corner, he he.
Gl to you all

I prefer NLHE, and sometimes PLO and 5-Card Draw.
I don't play a lot of cash games, and since I just reached 300$ bankroll (started at 10$) I mostly play low-limit MTT tourneys and SNG's.

I usually play tournaments, and thats because i think its the most fun, its just not consistent for building a bankroll i think, the swings are large up and down.

I like Sit&gos as well and should focus more on those to build by rolls, but again when i have time to play i usually play tournaments for above mentioned reason. 1$ - 50$ buyin.

I tend to stear away from cashgames as im really "good" at getting it going and then i throw the last hours play away on 1 hand, etiher bad beats or just me who played it wrong hehe
Cashgames when drunk (Which i havent dont for some time) is soooo fun, but its one way or the other, when you wake up the next day and log in to your account its either multiplied by alot or its totally broke, so i try to stay away from that as well ;o)

I used to play only Holm Em for many years, but lately i always go for HORSE tournaments or Sit&Gos, 1 because its fun and 2 because i seem to win at it hehe.

And since i like to play HORSE i also play STUD, RAZZ and OMAHA when i get a chance.

Im are fairly profitable SNG & Tournament player. I mostly play $22 Single Table SNG's, but occasionally I play a 180 person SNG.. I'm doing fine in both.

I'm really really bad at cash games :( ... I fell very uncomfortable in deep stack situations.. just can't get myself to fold AK having hit a K94 flop in rainbow. I guess I have been damaged by my tournament game ;)

I play mostly lowstakes tourneys and some cashgames. I try to play as many gametypes as possible to keep it interesting. I play a freerolled bankroll, and I am pretty careful to play within reasonable limits compared to my roll, which means a typical MTT BI of about 10$ for now.

I play mostly cash..although will dabble in tournaments if they look good value .. Love any league type games though..especially with good players as i hope to learn from them :)

Medium stakes on cash but ive just lost a big roll on boyles/ipoker so back to the grind for me for a while.. :(

I used to play alot of stt's but went off them although i do still play the tv tables on prima as have many friends there but thats just fun!!

I play $5 SnGs NL HoldEm the most - many of them are HUs. When I concentrate I can win a little more than I lose, but unfortunately I have a tendency getting too impatient and then the money goes down the drain.

If I have the time I join a tournament, like the early double on FullTilt.

I love playing Omaha, but I lose to much money on that...

Slinky you have to stop saying your bad at poker and thats an order LOL. The more positive you are the easier you will cruise along !!! Besides ..... do you really want all the other players thinking they can knock you out ? I say you are probably as good as me :D and I refuse to say I am bad. Chin up dear and focus on your good points and the skills that you have gained to date !!! If you do this you can only get better. As a poker player you will always be learning (so I have worked out). For all you know you have a skill that is BETTER then the worlds best. Focus on this skill (pinpoint 1 or 2 of them) and pat yourself on the back for it/them :) ... Trust me Slinky ....You have to be positive ;)
