We are getting a lot of Playrs from the US now so we might want to try one or two Playr League tournaments on a US friendly site so they can play. If we do that, what do people think would be the best site for this?
-CakePoker
-UltimateBet
-AbsolutePoker
-Bodog
-PrimaPoker/MicroGaming
I know FullTilt and PokerStars are the biggest but since most people already have accounts there it will be hard for us to get special signup offers and added money to the prize pool. So of these rooms which would people prefer? Or would it be better to have PokerStars or FullTilt with no bonus money?

Much of a muchness imo, I have an account at absolute already and I hate it :p Also one at fulltilt. Maybe I should suggest poker stars to add to my ever growing collection of poker sites :p

I need the money but are obviously not going to win it anyway lmaooo, so extra money not an issue here :D
Then again, I did come 6th a few weeks back, a good half a nights sleep and maybe I have a chance.
There will be a heck of a lot more people imo if you play it on ftp. I imagine every single forum member has it to start with. It seems to be very populated with the American and German players also. So for the sites sake maybe fulltilt for a few weeks to see if the Americans and Germans come along would be a good idea. I think doing this would be less likely to upset anyone on the forum also, it becomes expensive to the less fortunate playrs to keep swapping sites and them having to deposit ;)
As for the strays they seem to have dwindled even with the $25 free, the passwords will only be accessible for the registered members. So I dont think strays will be an issue.
In summary, hahahaha I dont know :p cant decide now !!!

I really dont need to get accounts anywhere new at the moment, so my vote is on FT as well

Even though it is not really an option, I absolutely vite for PS. I love the site, it is very easy, and even for one who hasn't been playing on Stars, one will find it understandable and very easy-to-learn. Plus, as he said himself, David Plastik plays there a lot. And opposed to FTP the minimum amount to deposit is ONLY 10$ opposed to FTP where it is 50$, and some might not be willing to deposit that amount.

I fully aggreed with Danielle. I'm not a professional playr, and it will be expencive to have too many different sides.
And I'm looking foreward to how the structure off the Playr League will be when it starts up in 2009. Because I don't think I'll ever have a chance to win, but only have fun and pay my money to pricepool:confused:

I absolutely agree with Danielle too. Since Iīm not a poker pro and my bankroll isnīt that big either ;), I donīt have the money to deposit on a new site to often.
So we are back at the point where the discussion startet and I would prefer fulltilt ;)

I think other than the obvious 2, fulltilt and stars, that bodog would be a pretty decent choice.
