Can anyone explain to me a system or codes they use for notes on players? I've seen Kid Poker play online and show his notes through pokerVT. Anyone know some simple/brief abbreviations to put in player notes?
What kinds of things do you guys keep track of? Any imput is appreciated. TY!!

good player and donk... only 2 notes u need lol
i bet those are real useful since there are only two types of players right. there is only one style that wins and one style that loses... or not

I post notes and colours, RED = highly dangerous, I attach note to say in which way e.g , maniac dangerous or Pro player dangerous as examples.
The further away from red the easier the player. I mark DONKEY and specify in which way lmao.
I call people names in thier notes to also specify thier character .... such s "abuser" "crude" and "down right mental", nice guy of course the nicer of names.
In summary I could possibly mark a player RED and notate, .... Highly dangerous maniac donkey who is abusive ad crude lol. Or blue, nice guy, too nice, push over, folds to any bet etc etc .
Anything is notated I would understand, I dont necessarily use poker terms.

I usually just write a note that makes me remember the exact situation. If I write down the hand and what happened I am usually capable of remembering how the player played other hands when I, later on, see my own note. However, if you have some helpful software like PokerOffice you really don't need player notes.

I put notes that try to define them in one word or two, then more details. Like 'good' then 'floated OOP in r/r pot' for 'floated out of position in re-raised pot' .... or 'monkey' 'tried to bluff for less than min raise all in on river'
Basically what my impression is of them, then what they did to make me think that.
I also try to note the game and type, as I play a variety. So HS MTT 'monkey' or HU NL Cash 'good' etc
Some people may be good in tournaments but suck in cash etc.

I personally dont use ingame tags or notes ... I am usually playing 10 players SNG and I keep all important info in my mind, but if it is needed or I want to write down something important I stick to classic pen and paper ;)
