Please let us know your favourite option.

The playrleague will continue until 31.12. u can decide in wich way...

The poll ends Saturday night.

#1 should be clear, 2 leagues one danish and one international, if anyone is unfamilar with the point system please have a look here (http://theplayr.com/en/playrleague/item.asp?id=308)

#2 the two leagues will play together in the tourneys but the leagues will continue seperated

#3 we will make it one big playr league and will continue with the point standings as they are

#4 we will make it one big playr league and adjust the point standings with x ranked player to his counterpart in the opposite league, say player #1 has 600K points in league A and #1 in league B has 620k, they now both start at 600K points in 1 big playr league.

Option 4 is not fair at all for us, who had only been playing in one league. Shall we be "punished" for that?

hmm can you please xplain why that is not fair?

I made a thread and nobody complained that i wasnt fair and it seems that most playrs do prefer this option.

It seems like the most common wish is that we put the leagues together so we have to find a solution and leaving the points as they are seems unfair then to adjust them.

I see that most playrs prefer this option, and thats their choice. I dont think its fair that the playrs who had been playing both leagues gets their points together. I have only played the danish league. Im in front in the danish, but if we puts the points together I will not even be placed in top 5. I only speak for my self, but I really dont think thats fair. Hope you understand my poor english.:o

I see, you misunderstood what we said.

if youre are rank #1 in the danish league u will still lead the big league, just you have to share that place with #1 of the int. league and u will have same points.

Basiclly every rank in the new league will start with 2 players per rank with equal points because any rank in league a will get the point adjusted his counterpart in league b.

Ok, I misunderstood. Sorry. Just to be sure, what about ex. Ramones1dk. Nr. 1 in the international and nr. 6 in the danish? I just hate when im not sure.:)

I think for players who played in both leagues we should transfer their best rank to the new league.

What about the playrs that have won a monthly final, are they still qualified for the yearly final, or is it only the points that is carried over in to the new league:)

Okay I didnt know about that but I think its just fair to let these players take part in the yearly finals, I dont see a problem there.

I think it is necessary to adjust the points somehow. I personally like mustardeggs idea of "melting" the danish league into the big league, thus giving the players similar ranks. I do have to point out that my opinion doesn't matter hence I am not eligible to win any prices. However, it still leaves us with an issue. What to do with the players who, by winning a monthly final, already have qualified for the yearly final?

Edit: Letting the previous monthly winners participate in the yearly finals seems reasonable although it does improve the competetion for the rest of the field.

yes it does improve the field but thats the idea of the final to have the best players in there right?

Whats was the hold on the yearly finals with the previous owners? How could you qualify for it?

I thought we would take the top 20 players and the monthly winners ( most monthly winners would be in the top 20 anyway ) and play a heads up shootout or something.

Or we could play HORSE hahaha

i think thats pretty cool, if theres no better idea i think we will go with that

however i feel like we should award something for win the leaderboard, winning the leaderboard is certainly a bigger accomplishment then winning the yearly final

Rewarding the leaderboard would be a good idea. I'we noticed that we are all very different types of players and some are very stable and plays well almost everytime.
Whereas others - like myself - just sometimes happens to have a good day were almost anything is possible, but next time we play like s...
So if a playr of my kind makes it to the yearly final, this person could win, leaving the guys on top of the leaderboard with nothing and that wouldn't be quite fair.

Itīs a good idea with just 1 big league, but if you continue with the points and standings you have to update them, because i donīt think they are. I won the last monthly internationale final and the yearly standings is not updated because then i have qualified for the yearly final. And i havenīt received my price either - a signed copy of Gus Hansenīs new book. I Think you start all over, so new playrs would have a chance from the beginning and if you would you could make a final for the playrs who have qualified for the yearly final after the old standings.

One proposal for the league in the new year:

Once you have been no. 1 or 2 in the smalle ($3) tournament, then you only can participate in the big ($10) tournament.

Reason:

I think the huslers, sharks, pros and the other good players will scare most af the beginners and "not so good" players from participating in the league. Maybe the now think they have a chance and they don't give in the first time.

That's the spirit Slinky :). I still hope there are some players on here that are at all different levels though, like LOWER levels like us :confused:
