We're all happy about that guru. On the other hand it's always good to have a forum of friendly people listening when one needs to blow some steam.

Lets have a frontpage link to at "cry-shoulder" and a packet og whining bisquits with napkins to match:)

I like this thread actually, because i think that people on the online sites tend to forget that a truly good, or should I say, magnificent poker player (playr) is also a Gentleman/lady and only good behavior and decent talk should be accepted as respectfull.

I allways mute people who think Mite Matusow is an example to follow, and I never bad talk other players, just because they beat me at poker - luckyer or better than me.
Poker is a very good cardgame, but it is still a game, and sometimes you loose. People who bad talk other people every time the are beaten, donīt understand the heart of the game, I think.

We are about 50 poker players (120 interested) who meet once each month for a good game of live poker. imagine 6 tables with the kind of talk you see all the time online!!!
I donīt think we would play more than 10-15 hands before the first fistfight would cancel the game.
So we have a gentleman agreement that we allways behave decently, and take part in a nice and good atmosphere.
It is o.k. not to be pleased with a bad beat, but then you can leave the room for a few minutes, have a cigaret, and come back to play or thank for the game.
Also when a player busts the tournament everybody claps for the player, this is actually a great way to leave a tournament:)

Good luck with changing your image, if you need to.
you will feel much better both winning and loosing.

Lets have a good playr-league;)

well said Brunen !!! There is nothing better then being busted in the tournaments to have the "gg" comment rather then "Bye B- tch" etc etc. The atmosphere is great :)

You were very quick to spread the love Froedo :) ... Here is my effort >>>

Everyone on here I have met is GREAT and I feel privileged to be part of theplayr.com league and forum community. Heres hoping that we will always remain a wonderful community of poker players :o :)

gg theplayr.com members :)

Yeah but not a lot on casinos though. But i used to be a part of a great community in Denmark with a lot of friends. We used to be between 6 to 18 people playing tourneys. The structure usually was a 50 dollar rebuy tourney with 2-4 players in the money, depending on how many we played. And if you got out you could start small games around with the other players that got beat. But once a year we played the grant tourney with a 100 dollar buyin and winner takes it all. Won this one once. Damn that was great. Getting other people to pay my rent ;)

nothing against matusow, only reason to watch high stakes poker...besides farha obvious

but yeah nastyness at tables is really annoying. Good that u can mute someone chat at the online rooms. They should have that feature in the casinos too :p
