WD ? - Ante on Titan?

Are we going to play with ante on titan in the league, if not - that would really suck big time !!

Do we really want ante's?? And i think about 2k startin chips for women and 10k for men.. :p

Do all i-poker/titan tourneys have ante's? ive played many but not for a while and forgot :o

no they do not have ante's and thats the problem because then the game oftent ends up with being a fold game because then you can maybe fold you into the money or to a better plads if there is ante's there will be more action and that will make the tournament more fun :D

Ahh i see...I'm sure however the structure is it will be fun :) A league isnt about the money to me its the winning ;)

I am sure we can get ante's in the tournament we just have to ask fore it because there is some tournaments on titan where there is ante so it's wierd if we can't get it in the league but ofcourse there is many thing there is wierd on the web

There are tournaments with no anti's ?? Gee wizz !!! I didnt even know that !!!! Never ever have I seen a tournament with no anti's as part of the structure. I mean they have to always kick in eventually dont they ??

depends on how the site sit up there tournaments and on titan is it normal to play with out ante so we can just hope we can get ante's in the league

I just got a mail, the tournaments should be set up tomorrow. No guarantee though and after that I can request changes in the structure.

Dont worry if there is no action ill just start open shoving every hand:D

imo i dont see what difference the ante's make .. if you want a fast structure then have faster blinds or less starting chips :)

But as i also stated i think this league will be so much fun and so long as we have a decent bit of play who cares :D

Great !!! Its away !!! See you at the tables guys and gals :) As it is my sons birthday morning when I am playing I have a good excuse if i get my ass busted in 5 mins .....>>> I was concentrating on the opening of birthday presents lol. Or As it is my daughters birthday the day before I play my 2nd excuse .... >>> I am hung over as well as concentrating on present opening lol. Antes do make a difference.

I prefer a structure with ante medium/late in the tournament.

Ante makes everybody pay a little every hand, and this makes the pot more interesting, and it gives the active player an edge.
You have to play more hands, and this gives the skilled player more options to make moves at the pot.

The inactive player who just had good cards, and is still waiting for more good cards, will have to either change his play, when the ante comes around, or simply just see his stack deteriorate.

Once you get to accept the neccesity for ante, you will like it, because it is NOT the same as shorter rounds or bigger blinds.
But again, I like when the ante comes in to the tournament medium or late.

Here here..i have to agree your right :) Never looked at it like that before and i used to be one of those tight ass's waiting for my AA to come lol So yessss bring on the ante's :):)
